Designtextiles

Designtextiles is a project by Architonic AG, Zürich. Seven selected premium brands from Germany and Switzerland form, as "Initial Partners" the basis for the project: Chivasso, Christian Fischbacher, Création Baumann, Jab Anstoetz, Nya Nordiska, Sahco and Zimmer+Rohde.

After the launch phase, the portal will open up to more international premium brands in the textiles sector. Our goal is to show the varied potential of textiles in architecture and home decoration and form a solid knowledge and inspiration source to interior architects, architects, retailers and especially to the end consumer.

Textiles have a long and meaningful tradition in the design of spaces. Today they play an important role in all fields of architecture and design: for accessories, furniture, area zoning, accoustics and sun protection, as well as for facades, rooft or as constructive armor.

Next to the wonderful decorative diversity, Designtextiles aims to show the functional advantages of textiles in architecture, while integrating all stakeholders: manufacturers, textile brands, experts, dealers, builders, planners and users.
